OVERVIEW
Spring Tide is a 1980 Endeavour masthead sloop which is currently in the water in Beaufort N.C. awaiting her next owner. I have owned her for almost 5 years and have upgraded and replaced items along the way including:
• a new fuel tank with fuel sender,
• propeller shaft,
• cutlass bearing,
• motor mounts for the yanmar engine,
• upper and lower life lines,
• very nice new dodger,
• new cockpit and salon cushions,
• replaced a few portlights.
|
|
EQUIPMENT
• Autohelm 4000 Auto Pilot
• a fixed mount VHF and
• a compass at the helm
• Ground tackle: a 25 LB CQR Swivel 40’ of chain and 160’ of rode.
• Galley Maid pressurized alcohol 2 burner stove/oven with
• Alcohol fuel tank in the cockpit locker.
• 2- group 27’s battery bank
• A 110W solar panel is mounted on a 1 ½’ stainless steel pole mounted on the stern with bracing to the life lines and a charge controller mounted next to the battery bank.
• The solar panel keeps them topped off on a daily basis.
• The chain plates and aluminum toe rail are sealed with butyl tape.

NEEDED
The only things that is needed is a hot water heater which I removed because it was rusted out and I haven’t replaced i. The wiring, breaker, and shelf are in place.
She also needs a head, I removed the old head and holding tank due to the age and was going to replace it with a composting air head but I have recently bought another sailboat so I will leave it out as a new owner might want a different head system. |

AUXILIARY
• Yanmar 2QM20 |

HULL
2 years ago I stripped the bottom down to the gel coat applied epoxy primer coat and fresh bottom paint. April 2013 she was hauled and a fresh coat of bottom paint was applied and I dive regularly throughout the season and keep her undersides clean of growth.
She is a great handling sailboat all around under power or sail. The only reason I am selling is due to a great deal on a 34’ sailboat. |
