OVERVIEW
When we found Sea Ya at a yard in Blue Hill, Maine, she’d been
sitting for several years, shrink wrapped. Discovering her to
be very sound and strong, we bought her on the condition of an engine
test. The Yanmar started right up. We sailed her home to Tenants
Harbor and sailed her for the next 6 years. She needs
some work—mostly sprucing up and some projects (like rebedding/replacing a few ports, new bilge pump), but she can be sailed away as
she stands. She is currently dry docked at Spruce Head Marine,
Spruce Head, Maine.
ACCOMODATIONS
• (6) Berths: Port Quarter, Double Port Cabin, Starboard Cabin, and Double V-Berth. Cushions only in main cabin. Formerly belonged to a Corsair and don’t fit perfectly, but work well enough and are high quality.
• Headroom: 6' 3"
• Head with sink
• Hanging Locker, Insect Screens for Hatches, Folding Dining Table
• Pressure Water and hot water heater not presently hooked up
• (2) large overhead hatches in addition to the companionway, forehatch heavily crazed and needs replacing although it is not leaking now.
• (10) cabin ports open for excellent ventilation. A few of these need replacing and rebedding.
