Overview
After more than a year and a half I’ve finally reached agreement with insurance that our boat is a total loss as a result of Hurricane Ian damage. Quotes to repair total about $67k with $23k of that for the mast and rig alone. That is far more than the insured value or market value after repairs.
The boat was in excellent condition until the hurricane damage. If this might interest you, let me know ASAP as once I sign it over to the insurance company I will be out of the equation. The boat is tied to my dock in Cape Coral FL and is “operational” although not seaworthy. If you want a project, you will be responsible for removing it, along with all associated equipment, promptly. Photos show the boat in its current condition, and as it was with the mast still in it. Also they show the hull damage, including the port side chainplate ripped out.
