Endeavour 51 Plan

OVERVIEW
In the fore cabin is a large double v-berth, hanging locker and good built-in storage. Aft and to port is a large head with separate shower stall forward; opposite and to starboard is another hanging locker. The head may be entered either from the forward cabin corridor or the main salon.

Next aft in the main salon are straight settees to port and starboard, each of which converts to a double bunk, centerline is a large teak drop-leaf dining table. Aft and to starboard in the salon is the navigation station with outboard facing chart table, swing-out chair, breaker panel and good storage. Opposite and to port, in the walkthrough to the master cabin aft, is a linear galley starting forward with the 3-burner propane stove and oven, followed by the double stainless sinks and then the fridge most aft, amidships and inboard is a large freezer with additional work surface.

Aft of the galley is the large and comfortable master cabin with centerline queen berth. Forward of the berth is plenty of changing area with hanging lockers to port and starboard as well as shelves and further storage surrounding the cabin. Most forward and to starboard is the large master head with separate sit-down shower unit.

The whole of the interior is nicely finished in varnished teaks and is well ventilated with plenty of hatches and opening side ports. The solid teak parquet cabin sole was reworked and refurbished a few years ago and looks great, all cushions were re-upholstered (in 2011) to create a very inviting and homely interior indeed.

• Aft cabin queen bed with memory foam mattress topper (2013)
• Salon upholstery (2011)
• Ocean Air screen/sunshades for all overhead hatches

REMARKS
The Endeavour 42 Center Cockpit offers an extremely comfortable interior combined with an easily-handled sail plan and a solidly built hull. This particular boat is quite probably one of the nicest examples to be found anywhere due to her having had a major refit in the early 2000's, that included new sails, rigging, engine overhaul and much more. In the years that followed her current owners have used her very gently, largely as a live-aboard home in St John through each winter, yet continued to lavish her with systems upgrades and thoughtful improvements. As you will from the detail in her specification sheet, there really is very little that has not been replaced or renewed in the last decade or so, including her fuel and water tanks, a known issue with this design.

She therefore appears to be mechanically and cosmetically in great condition, is competitively priced, and would be a terrific choice for those looking for a very comfortable, reliable cruiser.
