After MANY years working on this lovely craft having been damaged during hurricane Georges in Dog River Mobile Alabama, to my dismay am confronted with age and medical related conditions that make continuing impractical.
Upon completing initial damage repair had use of Hurricane for a short while, Then Hurricane Ivan literally destroyed most of the marinas in the gulf coast area along with many hundreds of boats !
As reflected in craft built in this area. She was tough as an iceburg and suffered fairly minor additional insults . Have just completed new bottom job was looking forward to enjoying sailing the Pensacola Fl. Area while attending to numerous mostly cosmetic (my opinion) damage when my health declined.
Technically would be considered a “project boat”. There is considerable finish work and tweeking to bring her up to par, but would not take that much effort to find her doing eight knots on a sunny day in Pensacola Bay! The degree of finish/bells and whistles would be up to the new owner. If adequate compensation for considerable cost and sweat equity cannot be realized, will probably continue the quest to restore this previously beautiful craft !
Asking price is $60.000
