Boat History:
1st Owner: (1979-1999): Previous owner bought the boat new. Boat has been sailed very little in the last few years due to owner's poor health. He finally sold it for the same reason. He kept it well maintained, though.

Experience:
I have been sailing my own boats as well as OPB's on Galveston Bay and the Texas coast for the last 10 years. Some chartering experience in the Caribean.

Boat Review/Upgrades:
After owning the boat for 8 months, I am enjoying it more each time I go out. It has a very solid, comfortable ride for a boat of its size. Still trying to figure out how to make it go to weather efficiently, though. And I can't make it back up straight for love or money!

I like the cabin layout, but wish the galley had more cabinets. I love the two deck hatches and all the opening ports. It's great for the Gulf Coast. You can sleep comfortably at anchor on all but the hottest, stillest nights.

Overall, the boat is a very good compromise of price, perfomance and comfort.
