Your Sailing Experience:
Began sailing 14' FJ 35 years ago. Have owned 19' sloop and 8 meter S2... mostly inland water sailing in Kansas and Oklahoma. I plan to sail the Endeavour this spring to the Bahamas, the Keys, and possibly Cuba.

Boat Review:
My boat was in a very sad state of neglect when I bought her. I have undertaken to completely redo the interior. I have removed and refurbished all 10 ports (replacing the coach roof side veneer with plywood painted white), rebuilt the head, replaced some of the gate valves with ball cocks, painted the interior and revarnished the teak. The teak veneered bulkheads were beyond reclamation, so I am converting to a more traditional interior of white trimmed with teak.

I still have a lot of work to do, with a May 1st deadline. But there is nothing so satisfying as bringing a beautiful boat back to life.
