Previous owner was reported to be principal in Endeavour Yachts at one time. This boat was built just prior to his involvement in Endeavour Yachts. Puchased in Charleston, S.C. and trucked to Corpus Christi, TX in July, 1997.Your Sailing Experience:
First boat was a Columbia 22 for a year in 1982. Bought 1983 C&C 29 new and sailed Texas costal waters with an occasional offshore trip in the Gulf of Mexico. Now living aboard since November, 1997. Love the setup and very adequate living space.Boat Review:
Most problems have been minor and mostly due to previous owner lack of knowledge about systems, etc. Adlour-Barbour referigeration overcharged with R12. Rear air conditioning overcharged with R22. Solenoid on windlass undersized and not rated properly. Air condlitiong circulating pump undersized to run 2 ac units. No engine hour meter at time of purchase. These are just some of the minor things. Nothing major at this point. Not looking forward to the enevitable fuel tank leakage problem, but will take care of it when it happens. Next big additions include bimini & dodger, autopilot, upgrading dc system and a traveler system for main. Would enjoy exchanging and info with others.
