Experience:
Prior to buying "Paws", neither my wife or I had any boating/sailing experience. Since the purchase, we spent 98-99 sailing in and around Long Island sound. In late 99 "we" retired from the US Navy and proceeded to cruise south. We ended up in Marathon 6 months later. Been here 1-1/2 years now and getting ready to leave in the next 4 months or so.

Boat Review/Upgrades:
The E-43 is an outstanding live aboard boat. I love the aft stateroom. It's not the greatest sailing boat, but less then 5kts I run the engine ;)

I have the original manuals on the E43. As far as all my paperwork says, my boat was made in 1978. I also have the wiring and other blueprints (plumbing, topside, etc...). I bought the boat Nov 98 in Key west, and left on 26 Nov for CT, arriving 12 Dec. Contrary everyones opinion the weather was outstanding!!! Only bad night was off Cape May NJ where we hove to in 40knt winds.
