OVERVIEW Endeavour 40’s are noted for their live aboard comfort. They are very roomy, the floor plan is well thought out, and there is an abundance of storage areas. Looking at the boats exterior you will notice how sturdy she is, a true blue water boat with a fixed keel and 9,000# of ballast. She sits very stout in the water and has a very wide stern, unlike most sailboats. Because of this, you have a lot of room to move around on deck, and she is a comfortable ride. The saloon is well set up for a family, and guests. The dining room table seats up to 6 comfortably. The couches pull out to accommodate 2 guests. You will not feel cramped with the 13 foot beam, which is considered wide for most sailboats. |
GALLEY The galley is to Port and is well set up. The propane 3- burner stove/oven is in good condition, and there is space for two 20-gallon LP fuel tanks. There is also plenty of storage, and built-ins for dishes. NAV STATION Starboard of the saloon is the navigation desk. It has plenty of space for maps, storage, as well as the master VHF and radar units. |
V-BERTH Forward is the V-berth, which is very roomy with a hanging locker and lots of ventilation and light. The forward head and shower can be accessed from the V-berth and the saloon, so guests have complete privacy to access the head.

AFT CABIN The aft cabin, is very spacious, thanks to the wide beam. It is very comfortable for two people, with TONS of storage even around the berth. The aft cabin also has its own private head and shower. To port there is a very large counter with two separate closets. |
DECK The running rigging is all cockpit-accessible, and lazy jacks further ease mainsail handling with the Doyle StackPack.. First walking down the companionway you will see the entire interior is hardwood, and very beautiful. |
AUXILIARY Walking astern you will see the very large and easily accessed engine room, which is fantastic for any work that needs to be done. You can also access the transmission, shaft and stuffing-box, as well as the heat exchanger through the aft cabin. The inboard engine is a 2000 Westerbeke 64C diesel. |
